BRITA PURITY C Quell ST filter cartridges were developed specifically for use in catering, for coffee preparation and vending machines, where they reduce the carbonate hardness of drinking water and thus prevent limescale deposits in parts of the equipment behind the filter. The PURITY filter absorbs heavy metal ions, such as lead and copper. In addition, it reduces water turbidity, the content of organic impurities and chlorine, which negatively affect the quality and taste of the filtrate, including drain water. Typical applications of PURITY C filter cartridges include coffee machines and espresso machines, cold and hot water dispensers, as well as combination steamers.
